EACH-WAY: NALEGH (Race 9)

VALUE: DARLAMAX (Race 5)

RACE 1 - 11:47AM Dominant Handicap (Heat 1 Rebel Raider Series) (1200 METRES)

KEEP READING was good on debut behind Taunting before an impressive win in testing conditions beating Strike Eagle last time. He has upside and should take some beating again for the in-form Jolly stable.  EXCEED IMPACT jumped favourite to win at Ballarat in March before running down the track in the Redoute's Choice at Listed level. BLERIOT blitzed rivals to win at Murray Bridge, was OK up in class and then she ran well behind Mac 'N' Cheese in the Oaklands Plate HANABI was good behind Royal Dress on the Parks track last time out and draws to get an economical run.

SELECTIONS: 3 KEEP READING, 2 Exceed Impact, 4 Bleriot

RACE 2 - 12:22PM Adelaide Galvanising Handicap (1050 METRES)

Good clash here between ALLEBOOM and LAKHANI ROSE. LAKHANI ROSE is a smart mare with a brilliant turn of foot, and she was a good winner here in September before two luckless runs behind One More Jack and Savatoxl in the City Of Marion and Xmas Handicaps at the back end of last year. She's jumped out well and is worth following. ALLEBOOM has a great fresh record and was a Flemington winner back in November. He hasn't raced since March when 3rd behind Propelle but has two trials back and has a win and two placings from his three first-up runs. SELF SUFFICIENT has his share of talent and broke through for a deserving win beating Italian Viking at Morphettville last time out and maps well from a good gate. WINNING WEATHER was a good Morphettville winner two starts back beating Short Stories before going to Caulfield and was never a factor behind Awapuni Princess. PORT VALE hasn't raced since running 3rd in the Matrice Stakes and is more than capable of running a bold race fresh.

SELECTIONS: 2 LAKHANI ROSE, 1 Alleboom, 6 Self Sufficient

RACE 3 - 12:57PM The Junction Handicap (Heat 3 NJT Series) (2500 METRES)

MAHIS ANGEL is flying and was a good winner over stablemate Not Usual Glorious at Gawler before backing that up with a dominant win over Lord Bouzeron last time. He's class runner who should be beating these. CLEVER MAN was an easy winner at Murray Bridge two starts back before sticky to the task well behind Bear Arms last time. He should be right in the finish. BEAR ARMS is a true swimmer who thrived on the heavy ground to bolt in here by just shy of 9 lengths last time and can give this a big shake if the track ends up close to a Heavy 10. CONNEMARA ROSE hit the line strongly last time and the 2500m is right up her alley.

SELECTIONS: 1 MAHIS ANGEL, 5 Clever Man, 4 Bear Arms

RACE 4 - 1:37PM G.H. Mumm Maiden Plate (1050 METRES)

LASTAR is a Yulong-owned three-year-old on debut for the McEvoy stable and trialled OK at Geelong. She came to SA and spaced rivals in a recent Murray Bridge jump-out and the early money suggests he's going to take plenty of beating here. RAVAGED REWARD is a son of Shamus Award on debut for the Corstens stable and draws a nice barrier and jumped out nicely at Flemington recently and looks a big threat. DANSE DE LA LUNE ran well at Camperdown on debut and was beaten a touch over two lengths behind Velicina at Moe last time. She maps well from gate four and should go well. SO SAY ANGEL was very good on debut making good ground behind Spin The Reward and has trialled smartly for his return. SABAKU has been placed at five of seven starts and was favourite at Pakenham two starts back and must be respected here. LEANNA BELLE has been placed at her past couple, the latest behind Rusty Halo who has won since and is worth some thought at a price. KILLER BLONDE was right in the market and only battled last time but can improve on better surface.

SELECTIONS: 6 LASTAR, 14 Ravaged Reward, 3 Danse De La Lune

RACE 5 - 2:17PM Spring Racing Carnival at Morphettville - Oct. 9 - Nov 6 Handicap (1800 METRES)

DARLAMAX has won two out of three starts here and should be ready to produce third-up from a break after making ground behind Duke Of Plympton at Cranbourne and was good at Sandown on Wednesday. If handles the quick turnaround he's going to tack some beating. MOTELL was good beating Frankie Pinot last time. He comes up short enough here but should be right in the mix here despite the wide gate. CLASSY JOE was good behind Nudge Bar two starts back before a soft win over Denero on heavy conditions last time. He draws a nice barrier and has solid appeal. CAMPOBASSO loves heavy conditions and was too strong for Connemara Rose last time. He'll get a perfect run from the inside gate and has strong appeal. LOLLIELUCAS is worth a ticket at a price after a good win last time out although this is a sharp step up in class.

SELECTIONS: 3 DARLAMAX, 5 Motell, 2 Classy Joe

RACE 6 - 2:57PM James Squire Spring Stakes (1200 METRES)

BEHEMOTH was super impressive winning this race last before a big spring. Forget his Goodwood run when he was never in the right place and his fresh form speaks for itself, he's the class horse in the race but will need to be sharp to defy BEAU ROSSA who was brilliant first-up in the Lightning Stakes and is the horse on the rise. He has real upside, will get a perfect run from the barrier and shapes as a big danger. DALASAN can sprint well fresh, and he ran a slashing race in this last year. He's going to find it hard to sprint with the favourites, but his best is right up there with the best around but over further. ONE MORE JACK shapes as the early speed from a good barrier, SECOND SLIP is above average and can run a big race fresh. PERFECT ROUTE comes off a long break, but his best is very good and keep on eye on him going forward, likewise stable RITRATTO who is going to be looking for his pet trip at the mile.

SELECTIONS: 1 BEHEMOTH, 3 Beau Rossa, 2 Dalasan

RACE 7 - 3:37PM Grand Syndicates Handicap (1200 METRES)

Will Clarken holds the hey here, SPECIALISM was impressive coming off the speed to win second-up for his new stable last time. That was the best indication he was regaining the good form from his early career and looks hard to beat again. Stablemate NONAME LANE is going well and was good Murray Bridge winner before beating home all but Extra Mile last time. He draws a middle gate and has strong appeal. CLAP was a good winner first-up in SA and stuck on well behind The Brumby after leading last time. He draws a nice gate and is sure to be in the finish. WOTUWANT has been placed at his past three, the latest behind Specialism and is bursting to break through. ANGASTON was good behind Extra Mile last time out. He stays at the 1200m and should be right in the thick of things from a good barrier. PICARGO hit the line strongly behind Lake's Folly last time out. DE THORN scored at big odds two starts back before another good effort last time.

SELECTIONS: 10 SPECIALISM, 3 Noname Lane, 2 Clap

RACE 8 - 4:17PM Furphy Handicap (1514 METRES)

TURFITT has been placed at his past couple and did defeat The Partisan four starts back and will appreciate getting on the bigger track. THE SISCOS KID has a good record and comes to Sa on the back of a solid Mildura win when a short-priced favourite. He's a winner of soft going and should take beating in this class. BLAH BLAH BLAH has a good record and was a Balaklava winner in June and his past couple behind Great Diviner and The Brumby shape well for a race like this. KEYSOR comes up a big price for a horse racing well winning his past couple albeit back in class. RAISE AN ARMY strips fitter for one run back chasing home Lake's Folly and was in good form before a break and should run well.

SELECTIONS: 9 TURFITT, 5 The Siscos Kid, 7 Blah Blah Blah

RACE 9 - 4:55PM Sandra (Sammy) Elliott Champagne Lover Handicap (1100 METRES)

NALEIGH was good first-up from a spell before stepping up in class and running well behind stalemate Beau Rossa in the Lightning stakes last time. She draws out which should suit. BEAUDACITY was good getting through the heavy conditions to win at Cranbourne last time. He looks well placed in a race like this. HOWL was a good Balaklava winner on debut and looks a horse with some upside and worth following,. Kong RAN WELL BEHIND Beau Rossa first-up in the Lightning Stakes and is sure to fighting out the finish here. CHAMPAGNE AFFAIR was back to her best beating Ultimate Victory last time out and should be thereabouts again.

SELECTIONS: 12 NALEIGH, 10 Beaudacity, 2 Howl
