Co trainer Sean Casey is ready to unleash Laverrod’s return to racing.
Laverrod will campaign in Melbourne after a cameo appearance in Perth.
Sean Casey is keen to head east again after Laverrod's competitive efforts earlier in the year..
The Toronado gelding earned a cheque in every race with two wins and three placings from five starts.
His peak performances came in the Listed Hareeba Stakes (1200m) at Mornington and the Gold Sprint (1200m) at Caulfield last March and April.
"He'll start in the Black Heart Bart Stakes (1200m) and then go across to Melbourne," Casey told The Races WA.
"There are a host of races we can pick out and those VOBIS races he can go in go right through to January.
"It's a case of when he goes not if, but after the Black Heart Bart Stakes, he is off to Melbourne."
Joining Laverrod on the plane in the coming weeks is his travelling partner from the autumn: Dom To Shoot.
The Shooting To Win four-year-old paid for his way after taking out the Mornington Guineas (1600m) in March.
"He's back in work now after a minor accident," Casey said.
"He had a little cut on his leg but he couldn't fly.
"That's probably another reason why we delayed Laverrod in going across.
"We wanted to wait for Dom To Shoot to fully recover.
"It's a long way to go go over with just the one horse."
While Casey and his stable, assisted by co-trainer and son Jake, keep a keen watch on Melbourne, they are kept busy with a team of horses at home.
Youngsters Magic To Exceed and Fatale Femme are set to commence their Ascot carnival aspirations.
A brother to Vega Magic, Magic To Exceed has only been around once in a race, but it was a good one, winning on debut in May.
Fatale Femme won her opening two races and ran fourth in the Karrakatta Plate.
They are both set to trial in the next few weeks.
Charlton Eddie, runner-up to Iseered Iseered in Saturday's Jolly Beggar Stakes (1000m), will run in the Nicopolis Stakes (1200m) on September 18.
Unraced three-year-old Rockin' Rupert, a winner of two trials, has gone shin sore.
The Black Heart Bart Stakes (1200m) is run at Belmont on September 25.
