2021 THOUSAND GUINEAS PRELUDE – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS

Scorched Earth has the speed to lead but should have to earn it with good pace from the low draws. HERESY (1) just missed in the Quezette and then did a terrific job to measure up to the colts last time in the McNeil around here. Looks sure to stay the 1400m, in fact she may just improve for it, and she brings far and away the strongest formlines to the table.

Danger can be MORIOKA (3) who is still a maiden but has run well in all five starts and thought she did enough against older horses when resuming.

ELUSIVE EXPRESS (5) will get further than this but looks sure to be strong late as she was when resuming at Cranbourne. She's a nice filly likely to get better deeper into the spring. That probably isn't true of SCORCHED EARTH (2) who is more one for the here and now. She has pace and going well enough in similar races.
