Winning Trainer: Kevin Corstens
"That was fantastic. Great ride. He was patient on her. Just super. Really good."
Ken King Thoroughbreds: "Fantastic supporters. Ken and Anna are behind me all the way. They've given me some really nice horses to work with and we've had some success. This is probably the best one so far."
Progression: "We've always liked her. Even when we had her first in the stables we were patient with her. After her last start I still said that there was plenty of improvement in the coat and she still has improvement to come. Hopefully she's not just there yet."
Maskiell: "Jason's a big supporter of ours. He sticks with us. He does a lot of work with our stables and it pays to be loyal sometimes."
Winning Jockey: Jason Maskiell
"He's (Corstens) given me good support. I've really liked this horse even before she went to the races. I believe in her a lot.
"He asked me how I'd go with the weight but I said it is easy to do it for a horse you believe in. It is good to get the result.
"In the run I was quite happy when I put the favourite three-wide. I knew that he was always going to put a bit of pressure on me on the turn but I had to just wait for him to make a run before we did. The way she picked up, I was really happy with her."
This success means something: "It's really up there. Obviously everyone knows about my downfall and to come back, come back in a big way - my wife is out in the carpark with my son - and it is probably the biggest race I've won since I've been back and it is just a great thrill.
"Thanks to Ken King for giving me the ride. He's been a big syndicator for a lot of years and to give me the opportunity on such a big stage, hopefully we can deliver in the Group 1."
