Winning Trainer: Grahame Begg

Missed Mornington Cup win but got this one: "Second time lucky. Great ride. We had a long talk yesterday and then going into this morning about tactics and things like that.

"He (Childs) executed is very well. Very pleased for Jordan because it has been a bit hard for him getting back but its really good. At least this horse has been kind to him over a period of time. He's had good success on hm but the staff have done a great job with him.

"The horse races really well here and we're really delighted."

Did the horse show early Caulfield Cup potential: "Not at all because thehrose was a drop. It took him the first two or three preparations to work it out. If you go back and watch his first start he tried to run off the track at Pakenham, but once he started to get it all together he showed a bit of x-factor particularly at his first maiden win and he's been a good handy horse that hasn't had a lot of luck in a lot of races.

"He's a good solid horse for the stable."

"We've looked after him. He's very lightly raced for a five-year-old and we've always backed off him and given him time. We haven't overtaxed him. Hopefully to have a horse going when he's five and six-years-old and maybe even at seven or eight.

"We've looked after him and he's been rewarding us all the way through. He'll keep on rewarding us."

Winning Jockey: Jordan Childs

"It means a lot. First big winner back. It has been a long road to recovery and I was probably suspect to be back before spring or during spring so it is a credit to my physio, Amelia Elliott, she's done a fantastic job.

"I really believe that if it wasn't for her I wouldn't be back this early.

"And for Grahame, he's been such a big supporter of mine. Every since I came back I walked in with open arms and back on the good horses. For the connections of Nonconfirmist to get him into the Caulfield Cup, it's a great feeling."
