Winning Trainer: Peter & Paul Snowden (Stable rep speaking: Andrew Angelone)
"It was impressive. I thought he wasn't going to get out and I was screaming at the TV but no, it was a very tough win and congratulations to everyone involved, it was great."
Melbourne arrival: "He (Wild Ruler) arrived last Thursday, came down here (Moonee Valley) on Monday and he's been great. I last saw him in the Coolmore and he's just matured so much, he's such a lovely type of horse and he's just fantastic."
Gallop earlier in the week: "It's very important to come and have a look at The Valley. It's a daunting track - everything is really close. It's a tight turning track so it is always good for them to have a look. He's a professional with everything he does and I knew that would definitely help him."
"Daniel shouldered his way out at the right time. It looked like The Inferno was going to get him but to his credit he kicked on and looked impressive to the line."
Winning Jockey: Daniel Moor
"I'm really thankful for the opportunities, especially China Horse Club, Newgate Farm, Henry Field and the Snowdens, they've given me an outstanding opportunity here and I'm very pleased to make the most of it."
The run: "He's one of the most professional sprinters I've ever ridden. Rode a smart horse for connections in Super One but this bloke is just a new level. Everything I asked him to do he was the ultimate professional and he's got a really good turn of foot. Electric racehorse, hopefully he can do that at stud now."
Beaten jockeys:
Craig Williams - Trekking: "Ultra impressive. He didn't get clear running at the vital stage but went super."
Damian Lane - The Inferno: "Super. Different speed tonight. He found himself out the back and sprinted really well. Credit to the winner, it sprinted well when it got the gap."
Luke Currie - Portland Sky: "He was always under pressure and he was average in the straight."
John Allen - September Run: "She's run pretty well. The 1000 metres is probably a little sharp for her."
Damien Oliver - Swats That: "She ran well. Raced a bit fresh but will improve on the run."
Brett Prebble - Brooklyn Hustle: "She just got on one rein. I couldn't get her to stop lugging out and she basically took me apart."
Blake McDougall - Ballistic Lover: "Good effort. It just would have been nice if she'd had a run in the night. She jumped something at the half-mile there. Tough on the speed but we weren't going to come back that quickly."
Liam Riordan - Miss Albania: "Probably wants 1200 metres back in grade."
Damien Thornton - Shaquero: "Ran well."
Jye McNeil - Profiteer: "He ran well. He's obviously setting some strong sectionals and just compounded a bit late."
