Expecting a solid tempo set up by Inverell crossing from the outside draw. PROFONDO (2) threw it away in the lead up when shifting in badly over the concluding stages. Still only went down narrowly and Dolan would have learnt plenty from that experience. Bred to love the step up in trip and should make amends.

HEAD OF STATE (1) beat the former last start when clearly appreciating the step up in trip. McDonald sticks and no reason to think he won't hold his form. Clear danger. NEVER BEEN KISSED (11) is the big query runner on the quick back up having won the Flight Stakes last weekend. Still a big query over the fillies being any good, but she still deserves respect. ALEGRON (3) the next in line from the soft draw.
