On the winner: "Hilal's always been a promising colt."
On the ride: "He rode him 'good', he won and that's all you can do."
On the future: "We will see how he pulls up before we get too carried away. But he has bounced back today so we will have a look and see what is coming up that might suit the colt.''
Winning Jockey: Tommy Berry
On the run: "He didn't help me much during the run, he went a bit keen. He needs something on to keep him focused, but then once again he gets a little bit keen."
"Be awesome to chuck a set of winkers on him at the top of the straight. He's always had that ability. I'm not sure what happened last start, he's a better horse than that. I knew he'd come here and run well because the Hawkes Team to keep him in a persist with him he's obviously done really well earlier in the week. That was what we wanted to see from him today."
On the future: "Just changing gear with him in his last three or four starts he's had different bits of gear to see what works for him. That's done the job. They might even have to come off if he steps up in trip but I'll leave that to the team."
