2021 RED ANCHOR STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Should get a true tempo from the outset as a number of them push forward including Tadweer, Dosh and Generation.
GENERATION (4) has been freshened up for this after running well in two runs at the start of the spring but probably clocking in slightly below expectations. Set the right sort of target are and think the smart yard can click him into the sort of gear that his fast Caulfield win last season promised he could find.
DOSH (9) looks sure to take some catching. Gave a huge sight in the Schillaci at Caulfield and a repeat of that form here will go mighty close. Plenty of nice horses away from that pair in a race that doesn't have a long tail. MORNINGTON GLORY (8) came up short in the Danehill but the Bendigo win said he was a real talent.
Similarly, SCISSOR STEP (2) was no match in the Sapphire but he did enough to think that the high-rating win prior was no fluke. SUDOKO (6) beat a small field last time but did it well enough to consider him a hope here.
