BEST BET: FRENCH FIELDS (Race 2)

EACH-WAY: PUISSANCE DUSOLEIL (Race 4)

VALUE: EXALTED GOLD (Race 5)

RACE 1 - 1:20PM Davey Pumps Maiden Plate (1200 METRES)

HUNTLEY LADY ran a nice race on debut here when she got well back and made good ground running 2nd behind French Fields. The extra trip looks ideal, and she should take plenty out of her debut. SELLIX is a forever bridesmaid with 14 placings from 28 starts and always run well. She comes off a handy effort up in distance when 3rd behind Kheshig at Balaklava. THE TRANCE FACTOR falls into a similar boat with six placings from 33 starts and she was OK behind Ashady Past at Gawler last time. ROUGE RENARDE has been around the mark and made some ground behind Halifax Road here last time. She is back in trip but worth some thought. KEETTOM was a good effort at Bordertown behind Phillyvonne and must be considered here.

SELECTIONS: 4. HUNTLEY LADY, 6. Sellix, 1. Keettom

RACE 2 - 1:55PM Coonara & Magill Grain Class One Handicap (1000 METRES)

FRENCH FIELDS was impressive first-up from a spell safely holding Huntley Lady here. She draws a middle barrier and looks the clear top pick again. VIRTUE has ability and was OK behind Strategy last time at Morphettville on the Parks. She draws a nice barrier. SQUEAKY GATE has trialled up OK and wears the blinkers form an inside draw with Todd Pannell riding on debut. That's a solid push. CHARGING FIRE made good ground behind Avid General last time. GRIMSEY has ability when he does things right.

SELECTIONS: 5. FRENCH FIELDS, 3. Virtue, 7. Squeaky Gate

RACE 3 - 2:30PM AAP / DAB Water Technology Maiden Plate (1800 METRES)

VICTORY BANDIT has been placed in seven of nine starts and the jump from 1500m to 1800m looks ideal. She has threatened to win a couple of times, draws the nice barrier, and gets her chance again. BOSSPAN was game in defeat first-up from a spell here last time. He jumps to the 1800m and drawing out should suit after he had to search for runs inside horses last time. EARL OF SANDWICH battled away in the same race, his previous at Balaklava when 2L behind Yeelanna was good for a race like this. VANITY STAR worked home OK debut behind Last Zerprise here last time out. He draws outside but should take plenty of improvement from his debut and looks in the mix out in trip.

SELECTIONS: 13. VICTORY BANDIT, 1. Bosspan, 2. Earl Of Sandwich

RACE 4 - 3:05PM Philmac Benchmark 58 Handicap (1600 METRES)

PUISSANCE DUSOLEIL ran well first-up from a spell making good ground from a long way to run 3rd behind Li'l Hank here. That form has stacked up in better company. She's fitter, out to the mile and should take some beating here. MOSCOW MULE just missed at big odds at Penola two starts back before a dominant three length win here last time beating Saduka. This is a clear step up in class but he is on the up and perfectly drawn. LAST ZERPRISE had good backing to beat Bosspan here last time. She's a nice filly with upside and the extra trip suits. GETOUTTHEWAY was a Gawler winner three starts back and tried hard behind Sebonna last time. He draws out wide but must be respected. BRONSKI got the money back in class at Bordertown last time and gets into this race well after the claim.

SELECTONS: 6. PUISSANCE DUSOLEIL, 5. Moscow Mule, 9. Last Zerprise

RACE 5 - 3:40PM Vinidex Benchmark 52 Handicap (1000 METRES)

EXALTED GOLD is the big improver here. She led behind Avid General before another solid effort on the quick back-up behind Aston Rapova in town. She gets in well after the claim, is third-up from a decent break here and can return to the winner's stall. AVID GENERAL was impressive here at double figure odds last time beating Strike The Night. He gets some weight relief and is sure to be in the finish again. STRIKE THE NIGHT was placed behind Addictions at Balaklava three starts back and that form has stood up in town. Her latest behind Avid General was OK and she draws to get every chance from barrier three. LICORICE BULLET was placed at Port Lincoln two starts back and warmed up late here behind Avid General last time. TURF TAPPER resumes here and was a Bordertown winner back in July and his fresh form is OK. DASKULYA was a Gawler winner beating He Will Boom back in May and was OK first-up from a spell behind Baraconi at Bordertown.

SELECTIONS: 2. EXALTED GOLD, 1. Avid General, 4. Strike The Night

RACE 6 - 4:15PM The Norma Group Benchmark 54 Handicap (1400 METRES)

MUFFLA had an eye-catching effort first-up from a break beaten 2.1 lengths behind Star of Chaos at Morphettville on the Parks track. He's never missed a placed in three second-up runs and looks to have found a winnable race here. GRACIEBIRD is a nice mare who is more than capable. She drops back in trip here and was well backed first-up when placed at Balaklava. Her past couple have been OK and the stable is flying. GIMME A REASON was a dominant winner at Naracoorte last time and draws perfectly in barrier two. BIG ACHEEVA was good first-up in SA behind Tahnee Tradition before being well beaten behind Full Probe at Morphettville last time. The blinkers go back on here and he can improve. BOOMER BEACH has been mixing form. He was a beaten favourite a Naracoorte back in August but draws a nice barrier with Todd Pannell riding. REINVIGORATE is a good mare who is going to need it further, but she was runner-up in the Strathalbyn Cup back in January and ran OK behind Tralee Rose in the Lord Reims.

SELECTIONS: 7. MUFFLA, 11. Graciebird, 3. Gimme A Reason

RACE 7 - 4:50PM Team Poly Benchmark 58 Handicap (1200 METRES)

GO BUNDLE was an impressive winner of a Gawler maiden two starts back before beaten into 4th behind Bon Pegasus there before a break. He draws out wide but has upside and looks well placed here. A BIT RACEY has been placed at both starts here and comes off a handy effort behind Star of Chaos at Morphettville on the Parks. She has each-way appeal. EL MAGNIFICENCE won two straight at Balaklava before jumping a $2.50 favourite and being too bad to be true when beaten 8.2 lengths behind Wild Willy at Naracoorte last time. MAGIC REWARD has been placed at three of five first-up runs and was an Oakbank winner in March. SAND CAT was OK from a tricky barrier when 4th behind Mighty Moshe at Bordertown last start. EQUAL BALANCE had good specking when runner-up behind Harbouring at Balaklava last tie out. He was a Gawler winner in July and should be thereabouts in a race like this even with the big weight. FIVE POCKET was on speed when 4th behind Baraconi at Bordertown last time and draws out here.

SELECTIONS: 3. GO BUNDLE, 9. A Bit Racey, 2. El Magnificence
