Winning Trainer: Leon & Troy Corstens (Dom Sutton speaking)
On the horse: "He'e's been very unlucky this preparation, it's a real credit to the horse. He's come back from three tendon injuries, he's been up for over 400 days so it's a massive well done to everyone at Geelong and Flemington. They've done a terrific job with this horse.
On his training: "We've got a really good tendon rehab program which we've had a lot of success with - Spring Choice is another horse that came back and won races - so it seems to be working well
Winning Jockey: Damien Oliver
On finally winning aboard Brasarda after four rides: "He's been a really consistent horse and a great job from Troy and all his team - I don't know how many runs this horse has had but he's had plenty and they've kept him racing at a high level all the way through. His form hasn't wavered at all, he's a horse that gets back and likes to run on so he needs a bit of luck
On today's win: "I've got to thank Troy, he was in a winnable race on Wednesday and I told him I can't ride as it was my daughter's graduation and I've got to go to that, but there's a race Saturday if you can save him for that.
On the ride: "They did go pretty steady and I was three back the fence and I was going to rely on a few openings to get through but every opening that came he took it really well and I felt I was going to finish full of running and be a great chance. He responded really welland the nice big straight at Flemington suited him
