With the release of the final field for the Magic Millions 2yo Classic (1200m) on Saturday, filly Coolangatta has opened is into $1.80 with TAB and could be the shortest priced favourite since Capitalist in 2016 if the popular trend continues.

While not yet at the $1.40 quote that Capitalist was when winning the race at his third start, Coolangatta has taken all before her so far winning both her starts at Group 3 level.

Though shorter than even money is realistic, Ladbrokes have started the week rating the filly a $2 chance.

The Magic Millions 3yo Guineas (1400m) is an open race with I Am Lethal at $5.50 after the final field was released.

The market for the Magic Millions Cup (1400m) in all-in stage has return-to-form enigma Kementari, trained by James Cummings, at $5 for the Magic Millions Cup.

Tony Gollan's Isotope missed a run at Doomben on New Year's Day and goes into the $970,000 Magic Millions Snippets as the $3.80 favourite before acceptances are finalised.
