Philosopher showed bundles of pace on debut and can lead these along at a strong gallop. Only a small field and that can afford PHILOSOPHER (1) complete control of things from the front. Showed terrific speed when winning on debut. Time there was strong and think that he will improve again. Clearly the horse to beat.
The other one with race experience is RAMPANT LION (2) who looks a good talent having stayed on well behind a fast one at Flemington. Has since trialled really well and the yard are among the winners at the moment. Will be strong at the end of 1000m and so will DAUMIER (4) who powered through the line in a jump out like one that will be better at 1200m and 1400m. Can prove the pick of the newcomers.
