Winning Trainer: Ciaron Maher & Dave Eustace (Dave speaking)
"He really deserved to win on Saturday (last run). He's missed a couple of times and we've always had an awful lot of faith in him. It has taken a long time for him to really hit his straps.
"Even on the home bend there had had a bit of a wobble and Jamie navigated it pretty well. He was strong there and we know he'd be strong at 1400 metres having run a mile out well.
"It's great for Dream Thoroughbreds. No one celebrates a winner harder.
"Credit to the team for keeping him up for so long. He's in a nice routine, we space his runs and the horse has needed racing. He's been up for a while and just improved in his manners every time.
"Jamie has not got the hang of him or possibly we've just got the hang of him as well. I think probably 1400 metres is perfect. He might get a mile but I'd say we'll stick to 1400m. Hopefully he can continue to progress."
Winning Jockey: Jamie Kah
"I figured out that he's very difficult. He's very hard to ride out. He's always got his head up in the air but I thought he did well today but I just thought the ran along a bit too quick so I was happy to take the sit on him and he was strong to the line like Dave said he would be."
Managing the horse: "I think you have to leave it up to him. On the turn he wasn't traveling well and I couldn't hold the horse inside of me in so I just kept mine happy.
"He got pushed a bit wide on the turn but he was happy just being left alone and the more I hit him the more harder it was to ride him out so in the end I just had to sit there and get up with hands and heels."
