Winning Trainer: John Thompson
On the win: "Well deserved. She has been so honest for the last couple of years, very unlucky in a couple of Listed races there. We got the black-type last start but she had come on from then and we were quietly confident today. "It's a well-deserved win. She is a lovely mare and she has still got a bright future."
On Brock Ryan: "He got in trouble, he was a little bit negative on her last start. I said today, 'just come out a bit more positive. I don't care where you are, I'll leave it up to you'. It was a good, confident ride. He's got confidence in the horse and on that win, she will win again.
"She has always shown she goes well, she is at that level. Everything fell into place today, the wet track, home track, good barrier, a jockey that knows her and a horse that is going really good."
On the future: "Probably the Epona Stakes."
Winning Jockey: Brock Ryan
On getting opportunities: "Obviously just had the two rides today. I've been doing a bit of work for John. He's been giving me good support so it's good to get a win on the board for him."
Confidence levels in run: "Once she jumped, travelled and got that pretty soft lead, I was able to creep away from them and I was always confident."
Beaten Jockeys:
James McDonald (Polly Grey): "Super run."
Jason Collett (Arctic Thunder): "Never travelled comfortably."
Rachel King (Divine Diosa): "Really good run. First time going the Sydney way it was definitely creditable."
Tyler Schiller (Fill Of Fun): "Really god. She handled the jump up in class really well."
Tommy Berry (Stray): "A bit soft for her."
Kerrin McEvoy (Le Gai Soleil): "It was a nice run. She had to give them a nice start. The winner was obviously off and gone. She is in good form. She is open to a similar race in the future."
Jay Ford (Modern Millie): "She struggled today in the conditions."
Reece Jones (Miss Redouble): "Much better performance today. Nice and relaxed in behind them. Didn't want to fight with me. Got to the line well."
Quayde Krogh (Room Number): "She ran well. Just outclassed at the weights and the heavy track."
