2022 PJ BELL STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS

Good early pressure primarily from Smirnova, Compassionate and I Am Brazen. ME ME LAGARDE (7) is a very talented filly who creates plenty of interest in her return. Bumped into King Of Sparta prior to a break and has since trialled well in the lead up. No luck with the draw but they find McDonald and trust in him to weave some magic.

A VERY FINE RED (10) was good late behind Mazu last start and has since trialled well with 28 days between runs. Should look to roll forward from the draw and be in this for a long way.

HERESY (5) wasn't far off in the Surround Stakes and has since trialled very well at Rosehill. Another drawn wide but with even luck she shouldn't be far off. GIMMIE PAR (6) the best of the rest.
