Winning Trainer: Gary Portelli

On her consistent form: "What a filly. She just turns up week after week and she raises the bar,"

On coming through the Golden Slipper: "She was set a task in the Slipper and she proved herself. A few people were knocking her before the race today thinking it might have been a one-off thing, but they don't do that in Slippers and still win."

"All week she has been telling me she has been spot-on and ready to go so I just couldn't wait for the race.

On showing up on race day: "She's got a big motor and these horses come around once in a lifetime. We've got the Winx Stand and hopefully one day we put the Fireburn stand beside it."

"She doesn't show me this at home, she just does this race day. She is a special horse."

"Early on, she wasn't showing enough.

On comparisons to her sire Rebel Dane: "She just knows how to win and she finds a way. She has that acceleration that Rebel Dane had when he was at his best at three, he would set his sights on them and run them down and she does the same."

Winning Jockey: Brenton Avdulla

On his thoughts leading into the race: "I said to my manager this morning I haven't had so much confidence going into a Group 1 race, the last time I was that confident was probably Ilovethiscity into the Randwick Guineas and I probably pressed the trigger about a furlong too early and still won."

"I didn't think they could beat her and when Anthony (Cummings - trainer of the second horse She's Extreme) came out and said he reckons they would've won the Slipper the other day with her that's why I gave a bit of cheek at the 50m 'C'mon, come with me'. She's a superstar."

On when he was confident of winning in the run: "Probably about the 600m. She doesn't give you a good feel early, you've just got to let her be. She jumped well but she just loses contact with them and switches right off. But once you give her a bit of a boot in the guts you can just feel her lift under you."

"On the corner Tommy (Berry - jockey of the second horse She's Extreme) was about six clear of me and I just knew it wasn't far enough. She probably was in the worst part of the track and it was race over at the furlong again. This is what it's about."

On her two-year-old exploits: "She deserves to be champion two-year-old. A bit of history I don't think any filly has done it for a long time and there's no reason why she can't do the triple crown. If she does that she's one of the greatest of all time."

"This is what you get up for every morning, if you told me this three months ago I would've told you you're kidding. To be a multiple Group 1 winner on her and three for the carnival so far. Gary (Portelli) has obviously done a marvelous job with his team and full credit to my manager, he's got me up got me going well. James Winks, he's battled me out of some demons and to all my family this is what it's about."

On the celebration over the final 50m: "I loved that Anthony (Cummings) how he said that he should've beat me the other day (In the Golden Slipper). Iit pissed me off because I don't think anything would've gone with her and today just showed."

"She was probably in the worst part of the track and once I set her alight she was off and she was quite soft again so it will take a good one to beat her in two weeks."

Beaten Jockeys:

Mark Zahra (Daumier): "Tried hard. Ran very well."

Nash Rawiller (Shalatin): "I love the horse. Wrong time ,wrong place on the wet tracks."

Damian Lane (Let'srollthedice): "He was super. Keeps getting better with every run and if he pulls up well, looking forward to the Champagne."

Jamie Kah (Counttheheadlights): "He was good. Just wants further to and to be ridden that bit closer."

Hugh Bowman (Man In The Mirror): "Not in that heavy ground."

William Pike (Magic): "He began too well and didn't settle as well as he could."

John Allen (Warby): "Just trouble getting through that ground and a bit new too."

Josh Parr (Wealthy Investor): "A little bit outclassed there today. He's a nice horse with a bright future."

James McDonald (Showcourt): "Come to the end of his preparation."

Tim Clark (Brosnan): "He did want to over-race a little bit with the blinkers. Took the sting out of him."

Tommy Berry (She's Extreme): "It was heart-breaking there. Thought we were home for a bit there but she went well. I was just beaten by a better filly on the day."
