2022 VICTORIA HANDICAP – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS

Loads of early pressure with Imperial Lad and Crosshaven prominent. KISSONALLFORCHEEKS (3) couldn't land a shot in the Doncaster last time but she was a big risk on the heavy going and she is undoubtedly better suited back to firmer ground now. She ripped around the 1400m first up and won well enough to think that she can be winning again here.

STREETS OF AVALON (1) was outstanding in the All Star Mile and 1400m around here has been his sweet spot in the past. Has to be a great shot. AYRTON (9) returns from a long break. No doubt vulnerable at this point in his prep but he is a big talent and must be respected. Back to 1400m can suit I AM SUPERMAN (2) who was sound at Bendigo under top weight and BERMADEZ (16) should run well again having done a great job from 1200m to the mile at Flemington.
