2022 THE ROSES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Okalani to lead them up and dictate terms. BARB RAIDER (1) is covering plenty of territory racing in her fourth state in as many starts but her form is holding well. Raced on pace and fought hard to miss a G1 success by just a head in the Australian Oaks in Adelaide three weeks ago. If she performs to that level again she will be tough to stop.
SMIRK (11) is progressing nicely, scoring narrowly in Sydney then chasing well to place in the Gold Coast Bracelet. Has upside and will be at her peak now. STALKING (6) settled back but worked home in the same race. The extra 200m suits and she is drawn to get the favours.
BELLE SAVOIR (8) is lightly raced but on the up and her close second at Sandown last start suggests she is looking for this journey. GIN MARTINI (4) boxed on last start and is worth a place in the exotics.
