Winning Trainer: Peter and Paul Snowden (Paul speaking)

On the key to today's win: "The dry track, I think that's the key to her. She comes from Perth, so she wasn't going to see too many wet tracks in her life (over there).

On the filly: "She was the dominant two-year-old over in Perth this season, obviously culminating in winning the Magic Millions over there and to Justin Warwick's credit, he sent her over. It took about a week to get here via road and we stemmed a plan from then on.

"When the races were cancelled the other week, it was a no-brainer to come here today. We had to pay the late entry but that means nothing at the moment. As you can see, there's some owners support here today, they're absolutely loving it.

On how she's best ridden: "When she did win the Perth Magic Millions, she got back and ran on. Obviously, it's a $1 million race, so there was going to be a lot of tempo here and even though they did run along they found their spot quite quickly.

"I was a little bit unsure (in the run) but when we got the 300 and Willie hadn't moved on her yet, (I knew) she's got a really good turn of foot and she really picked up late, which was good to see.

On the path ahead: "She only had that week off (travelling) and another week in the paddock, working from there once she did come over from Perth. We're keen to get her to the paddock now. She's had a good preparation and she's only going to come back bigger and stronger.

On a JJ Atkins start: "We didn't want to go past today, but it's up to her. She's a filly that can get a bit hot in herself but she was deadset like butter in your hands today. Whether or not she's loving Queensland I don't know but she was very good."

Winning Jockey: William Pike

On the noisy owners: "They're fantastic, they really get behind it and really enjoy the moment, which makes me enjoy the moment a bit more too.

On the filly: "It's more just her progression. The first run she raced a bit upside down, the next one was better and today was even better again. It's probably more progression with her. That's what you always hope to do with horses and she responded.

On the trip over from Perth: "She's still a young young, so it was a fantastic effort. I can't thank everyone enough for having me here and letting me ride some nice horses.

On today's run: "At first I thought the bird had flown and that horse (Swiss Exile) had a winning break but she actually got there and got there reasonably well in the end.

ON running 1600m: "I'll leave that up to them (Snowdens) but I think she'll be fine. She settled really and I think it wouldn't be a problem."
