Winning Trainer: Gary Duncan
Better this time than last time in: "He's a lot more mature, more grown up. He was a bit weak before. He's still a bit narrow and would get a bit skinny after a gallop. Now he's going good."
Throat operation: "He had a tie back. It just collapsed on him. When you have a look at the scope, one side was gone. They fixed him up."
Ticked that 1200m box now: "It looked to me he had them covered a long way from home. He travelled nice. It was an easy watch."
Winning Jockey: Taylor Marshall
Pretty easy: "It felt that way out there. We ended up lobbing in a beautiful spot. We had the dream run. I cuddled him into the straight to get the 1200 (metres) and he was good through the line."
Travelling so well: "I didn't want to let The Big Goodbye slip away too much knowing the track had dried out a bit but was still a bit wet but he was far too good in the end."
Charge through the line: "He's turned into a mature racehorse now. It's good to see him able to put races to bed now."
