Winning Trainer: Rex Lipp & Nicholas Hahn (Rex speaking)

Stakes double: "It was a nice win. It's a race we have been planning for ever since it was transferred to this day. She's come up trumps.

"She hasn't had a run for a while going from 1200 (metres) to 1600, a big jump, but I was never worried about that at all."

Where to now: "I think she'll go for a spell. I don't know what we'll do, but she won't be racing for a while here."

Nicholas Hahn

Stakes race with the boss, pretty nice: "It's a great thrill. She means a lot to us this mare. She gave us the first win in partnership and my first winner when I started working for Rex, it's great to win today."

Winning Jockey: Adin Thompson

On the win: "First Group winner. It's very exciting. I don't get very many opportunities or rides, so I just keep working and good stuff does come around."

The race: "It sounds funny, but I wasn't real keen on the idea of jumping out of barrier one because I know the horse likes a bit of room, but everything panned out and worked out a treat."

Speed was ripper: "It was very quick and that's why I think it worked out so well. It was a strung out field, so it worked out well."
