Jamie Kah had the pick of five Will Clarken-trained gallopers who are set to tackle the provincial feature with Todd Pannell staying aboard last-start Morphettville winner Noname Lane.

That pair both drew wide – Agreeable in 16 while Noname Lane drew even wider in barrier 18 – while the Tony and Calvin McEvoy-trained Winning Partner will also have to overcome a wide barrier in his search of three successive Balaklava Cup wins drawn in gate 17 with Mitchell Aitken booked to ride.

Clarken has booked Lachlan Neindorf to ride Hidden Legend (barrier 12) on the quick turnaround from his Morphettville win on the weekend, Kayla Crowther will partner Zoulah (barrier 9) while Eran Boyd will ride He's Exclusive who drew gate 7.

Clarken and McEvoy have almost half of the Cup field between their respective stables.

McEvoy having four runners with Dean Holland to ride My Boy Birmingham while the stable is still to declare riders for Night Passage and Coolth.
