Winning Trainer: Chris Waller (rep by Jo Taylor)
"He's a horse that once he starts finding form that he holds it quite well. Brett certainly suits him. He rode him perfectly and he seems to have figured him out now especially around The Valley and pressing the buttons at the right time and getting the job done.
"He had a fairly easy time up from. It is just a matter of him being a horse that is not as effective when it gets too heavy and with a Soft 6 he handled that well today but that is as soft as he'd like it.
"Brett just knows him so well."
Not in Cups: "I think we'll just take it one step at a time. There are bigger tasks that he can be set for but it really was just to see what he could step up to this preparation and tonight again it was a step up for him and he showed that he's up to the task."
Winning Jockey: Brett Prebble
"It's my birthday so its a lovely little present for myself.
"Thanks to Chris Waller. He's been a solid supporter of mine over the last few months and it is great to repay him with a nice winner tonight. The team is obviously building for a big spring and to be a part of that it is pretty special."
Wanted to lead: "I wanted him to travel on the bridle as long as he could (as) that is ground really as bad as he wants it and once he got the momentum going I thought he could maintain his gallop.
"Then for some reason he wanted to lay off the track. First time in the nighttime I think he was a bit lost here.
"He's really raised the bar, this horse. Last prep he went to 2400 and he toughed it out. I think he's going to be a real ultra-consistent soldier for the team."
