Winning Trainer: Tony & Calvin McEvoy (Tony speaking)
A relief: "It is. She's a really good quality filly and not much was going right for her and to win this stakes race today really was so pleasing. So rewarding for me and my team."
The run: "I was surprised she was beaten for speed. I thought she might control but Blake's got beautiful hands and she got a beautiful run and presented.
"Just got to hold on and, God bless her, she did."
Next: "There's the William Crockett Stakes at The Valley, there's the Coolmore at Flemington. She goes well down the straight. I've had a bit of luck with fillies in the Coolmore so I'll talking to the ownership group - that was a big tick today."
Due: "Do you know where the winners' room is?"
Winning Jockey: Blake Shinn
Early double: "It's nice to come here on a big day and get a couple of winners. I thought I had some nice rides but it is never that simple. You've still got to execute and it is nice to win on this filly for Tony and some long time clients of his."
The horse: "I was very impressed by her. They indicated to me that she was a high speed filly but from the get-go all she wanted to do was put her head on her chest.
"I allowed the other horses to go and just rode her as I felt.
"I was wide and she got into a nice rhythm coming to the turn. When the second horse challenged, she responded and it was a good effort."
Did he think he got the photo: "I was. I was confident I got the bob."
