The Murray Bridge stable has proven a force with their young horses in middle distance features, enjoying a brilliant Adelaide Racing Carnival where Harleymoven won the Port Adelaide Guineas and ran second in the Group 3 Chairman' Stakes, before more success at the weekend.

Given a perfect run midfield by jockey Barend Vorster, the daughter of Reward For Effort joined in smartly on the turn before racing away from her male rivals to win by five lengths.

More Reward was the first leg of a riding double for Vorster who claimed the last when promising filly Rich Gina justified a big push in betting to win.

He shared riding honours with Jason Benbow who had another double with Montepulciano breaking through for the Richard and Chantelle Jolly stable before the most impressive win of the day came from Struck By.

The Travis Doudle-trained galloper is headed for the time honoured grey's race at Flemington on Melbourne Cup Day after he shouldered a big weight first-up to beat a smart field, the stable themselves claiming a double when Rushaway Lad scored an equally impressive first-up win against another very good field late in the day.

ERAN Boyd took riding honours with a double at Penola on Sunday winning with Destiny's Republic and Transference, apprentice riders won the opening four races, while the Wayne Walters-trained Ali Orphan won the Kalangadoo Cup.

MEANWHILE Mount Gambier trainer Belinda O'Loughlin won Saturday's Hamilton Cup with Muntham Missile, his second win in the feature after winning in 2020.
