Given a gun run by Callan Murray, Diamonds proved too strong late holding off a fast finishing Legless Lady to enhance an already impressive record.

A Flemington winner last time in work, Diamonds has now won six of 24 starts and took career earnings past the $250,000 barrier.

The Bieg stable made it a race to race double when Chosen Blonde maintained her unbeaten record since returning to racing and took her earnings past $200,000 for her large group of owners who include star Adelaide Crow Brodie Smith.

Bieg's Morphettville stable has started the spring brilliantly with five winners from its last 12 starters which including a win in the opening South Australian two-year-old race of the season when Harleen won at Murray Bridge on Friday.

Bieg shared Morphettville training honours with dual-state horseman Phillip Stokes who also had a race to race double when Killiako and Neodium were successful.

Killiako's win completed a big two days for rider Kayla Crowther who produced the perfect ride to get Agreeable home in Friday's Murray Bridge Gold Cup for the Will Clarken stable.

ONE of the most impressive wins of the day on the Parks came from the Jon O'Connor-trained Grey River who blitzed rivals by more than seven lengths in the opening race of the day to remain unbeaten since returning from a spell.
