Winning Trainer: Annabel Neasham
"He's such an enigma, this horse. He just loves 1800 metres. He won well at Eagle Farm at a big price and then we ran him in the Toowoomba Cup. He ran well.
"I think 1800 is his sweet spot. I was a little but worried. With the ground deteriorating but I said to Tommy to ride him cold, ride him where he's happy and if he turns up he can win.
"He does this. He catches everyone out. Great for Highclere. Obviously they've had a disappointing week with Durston out. Hopefully that has put a smile on their face."
Next - suggested Eclipse Stakes: "Possibly. He loves being fresh and the Queensland time have done a great job with him. He's been in the paddock this week since his last run and, to be honest, I was a bit worried I'd underdone him but he loves being fresh and if we can find another race we'll probably go again."
Winning Jockey: Tommy Berry
"It was a great team performance and he always wins when you least expect it, this guy. He just took me back from the gate. It was a nice gallop and just felt the tempo come out of the race before the corner and he's a real momentum horse and I kept him rolling forward.
"He moved into the race strong and he had it won a long way out."
Track - inside fence: "It's chopped up and probably not going to help me in the Cup. We'll be somewhere towards the inside."
