RACE 1 - 12:17PM Fleurieu Milk Company Handicap (1400 METRES)
MY KHALIFA is chasing his fourth successive win and has been out of the money just twice in 7 starts here. He has a brilliant turn of speed and the small field suits. Todd Pannell will help overcome an inside gate. MAGNETIC EDGE is a danger, his past couple have been good, and he made ground behind Oh Mo last time. AIGUILETTE comes out of a strong form race, and he has the blinkers off for the first time. BLAZERRO led and stuck on well last time and should be on speed from a good barrier.

RACE 2 - 12:52PM Croser Handicap (1300 METRES)
IS IT ME debuted at Penhurst, was keen, wide and bolted in by 7 lengths after being $2.50 into $2. Clearly has upside and the small field helps offset a sticky barrier. MUSASHI had backing at Geelong on debut before resuming at Mornington with a win. He draws a nice gate and Jason Holder rides. COLD CASE was a good winner two starts back before running 4th in a strong race behind Kiki Express last start. He maps to get a nice run here. ROCKSTAR MEGGSY has a nice turn of foot, claim and draws a gate. AESCULUS came off the speed to win back in class at Balaklava.

RACE 3 - 1:27PM Twilight Races at Morphettville - Friday December 16th Handicap (1000 METRES)
PHILONIZE was back to her brilliant best running some sizzling sectionals to beat Calla Dream first-up from a spell. She's weighted to winning again here. MIDWEST is a good horse with 6 wins from 12 starts and comes off a very good run behind Jigsaw who has won again in good company since. He draws a perfect gate, gets in OK after the claim and is a big danger. HEKA EXPRESS was very good last time after being specked before beating Extra Time. SPANISH HEIRLOOM is another who loves to roll along on speed, but not sure she has the motor to go with the favourite. STARS HILLS loves it here and can be getting home late.

PLAY: Staying out in the small field.
RACE 4 - 2:02PM Furphy Handicap (1950 METRES)
TYCOON BEC was only beaten 3.85 lengths behind Crystal Pegasus at Flemington over 2000m three starts and has been freshened after she was well beaten behind Flash Feeling there in early November. She draws out but gets Barend and looks well placed in a race like this. RACE CARD comes off an OK effort at Sandown and was a Pakenham winner at his Australian debut. He should be in the mix. DEEL BLASTER has OK form and helped with the claim. CRYPTO CURRENCY has been racing well winning on the outer track two starts back before chasing home Chelimo. COMFORT GIRL and BELLAVARDO both missed a place midweek.

RACE 5 - 2:42PM Adelaide Galvanising Industries Handicap (1250 METRES)
PICARGO comes off a good effort at Moonee Valley. He maps well from the gate and gets a 3kg claim here. The Peter Hardacre pair are right up to a race like this on their best form. CHILL WITH TEEJAY resumed in early October and was average behind Rushaway Lad and draws a nice gate while stablemate SPIN THE REWARD wasn't beaten far behind Outpost last time and has won 5 of 18. MUNSTER was well beaten behind Philonize first-up but has a good second-up record and can improve even with the weight. SASKATOON wasn't beaten far behind Ocean Reward last start. ROHLON DRUNK has been good running 2nd at his past two, the latest behind Classy Kenny. MR MARATHON MAN has been around the mark. JUST CHIPPING AWAY is another who was OK behind Heka Express last time.

RACE 6 - 3:22PM The Junction Handicap (1550 METRES)
PUDDING has a good record here and tried hard behind Texan Windstorm last start. He maps well and is the horse they have to beat. WESTERN SUN spent more than two years on the sidelines before resuming and has been OK in both starts beaten 4.1 lengths at Sale first-up and then 4.85 lengths behind Standoff at Bendigo. He won the Gold Reef at Caulfield in 2020 and should be ready to peak third-up with the help of a Ben Price claim. DISAGREEABLE MISS has run well her past couple chasing home Boolcunda King last start but draws a sticky gate. FRANKEL STAR won well first-up and draws to get a nice run. AITCH D'AMICO comes off a good win and LORD OF DARKNESS has been racing well since coming to SA.

PLAY: Something on Western Sun each-way (2/3).
RACE 7 - 4:02PM Quayclean Handicap (1000 METRES)
THE GOV is bursting to win a race since coming to SA and comes off a narrow defeat by Ocean Reward last time and the form out of that race stacks up well for this. She draws a good gate and gets her chance. RODEO came off the speed to run down Wotuwant last time and should be fighting out the finish again from a good gate and with the claim for an in-form Teagan Voorham. MR HAVE A CHAT led and gave a bold sight in that race, he strips fitter but draws wide. PRANCE 'N DANCE dropped in grade and won as she liked at Clare, she draws wide but has the ability to be in the finish here. MANAGE THE CYCLE comes off a good Murray Bridge win but draws a wide gate. SECRET WAR has a good fresh record but plenty of weight here.

RACE 8 - 4:42PM Grand Syndicates Handicap (1250 METRES)
STARSONGARI won well first-up at Gawler before she was beaten less than a length behind Perfect Command last start. She gets a good gate, a 2kg claim and should take some beating in a race like this. BUBBLE OVER is racing well and comes off a solid 2nd behind Calla Dream which is very good form for a race like this. She deserves to break through. PARAMEDIC was scratched last week but plenty to like about his first-up run in SA when he made good ground behind Manage The Cycle. Out in trip, he draws to get a nice run if he gains a start. TUPOLEU was good behind Perfect Command last time but draws off the track. CLASSY KENNY has been racing well. PENTIRE'S SPIRIT is first-up for Michael Hickmott and has the two trials under his belt. He draws well and must be respected.

PLAY: Something on PARAMEDIC each-way is he gains a start.
RACE 9 - 5:30PM Happy Birthday Christine Simpson Handicap (1400 METRES)
TEXAN WINDSTORM showed plenty of fight to make it three wins on end last time out. He draws a good gate, gets in OK after the claim and should take some beating again. GRACEFUL EAGLE has ability and was a Gawler winner beating Bubble Over two runs back and chased home Calla Dream last time. She maps well and could be a danger late. PERFECT COMMAND draws out but was a good winner last start, LORD LUKER was sent out favourite last time and could be ready to produce third-up. LACRIMA is a former Victorian now with Michael Hickmott. She has had two trials but draws a wide gate. ORNAMENTAL LADY draws a sticky gate but doesn't run many bad races. KNIGHTSTOWN had market support and was OK behind Perfect Command he draws to get a good run here.
