The father and daughter combination celebrated another treble at Morphettville on Saturday when Saskatoon and Pudding - both for Darren Thomas' Seymour Bloodstock - were successful before Rodeo gave them three straight victories with Teagan Voorham in the saddle.

The Jollys have trained 30 winners across SA already in season 2022-23 - 14 in front of their nearest rivals – with 21 coming at city level.

And their year on year statistics highlight their dominance.

They have trained 73 winners for the calendar year, 14 ahead of 2021, with more than three weeks to go this year.

Gordon Richards and Damien Moyle's My Khalifa and the John Macmillan-trained Texan Windstorm both recorded their fourth straight victories while exciting mare Philonize proved too good for Midwest to extend her record to five wins from nine starts.

It was trainer Dion Koch's fourth winner from his past four starters and the Strathalbyn horseman is set to bypass this week's Listed Christmas Handicap with an eye on the Adelaide Racing Carnival in the autumn.

"She was probably only 90 per cent and was feeling it the last 100,'' Koch said.

"We won't be backing-up this weekend in the Christmas.

"We might give her one more run, but I think she will more than likely head to the paddock for three or four weeks off and come back in the autumn.

"There are a lot of nice races for her, the (Group 1) Sangster would be the pipe dream so hopefully she can come back well and get her chance to tackle some of those nice sprinting race,'' he said.

MEANWHILE in Perth it took star local filly Amelia's Jewel to deny the Will Clarken stable victory with Ironclad in the $1.5m Northerly Stakes at Ascot.

Ironclad was brave racing up on speed and surging to the lead before Amelia's Jewel burst through the pack and continue her rapid rise as one of, if not the best filly in Australia.
