Murray Bridge trainer Matthew Seyers is weighing up his options with promising three-year-old Test The Law this weekend.

Matthew Seyers accepted with the son of All Too Hard at Moonee Valley on Friday night and Morphettville on Saturday and said a wide gate in Adelaide could force his hand.

"We may go to Melbourne now,'' Seyers said.

Test The Law finished runner-up behind Aitch Two Oh at Morphettville on debut before breaking his maiden status on his home deck at Murray Bridge.

He's finished out of a place just once in six starts running fourth behind He's Heaven in the Listed Oaklands Plate at Morphettville in July and Seyers said the horse had improved sharply off his first-up run when he finished off strongly behind Zufasta at Morphettville.

"He's really taken plenty out of his first up run,'' Seyers said.

"He missed a jump-out leading in and his work the other day here was very good,'' he said.

Test The Law drew gate four in Moonee Valley. In contrast, he'd have to overcome barrier 15 at Morphettville where Kayla Crowther has been booked to ride.
