Ducatoon product Empress Of Wonder can put the Kadina Stud firmly on the radar of breeders and buyers ahead of the 2023 Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale when she lines up as one of the chances in the rich two-year-old feature.

"We've got so much going on we'll be watching form here, but it's exciting for a small SA breeder like us,'' Toole said.

The daughter of Choisir was purchased for $100,000 by Annabel Neasham on the final day of last year's Adelaide Sale.

Out of local mare Tsarina Wonder, who showed ability winning four of 20 starts for the Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas stable, Empress Of Wonder is the third foal to race alongside half-sister Wonderful Riri who has earnt just shy of $300,000 winning seven of 28 starts in Queensland and local galloper Friendly Ghost.

Empress Of Wonder was placed in the Group 3 Ottowa Stakes at Flemington in the spring on debut before finishing second in the Listed Calaway Gal at Eagle Farm on December 10 and will be ridden by Chad Schofield.

And Toole said it's no surprise to see the filly challenging for Magic  Millions glory.

"Going back as far as last March we knew she was a pretty special filly,'' Toole said.

"Colm Santry from Coolmore, who is a good friend, said to me she was a very nice filly and was instrumental in Annabel purchasing her.

"He said any filly by Choisir who walks like she did would be winning at Stakes level and she has certainly shown her share of ability and is sure to measure up there on Saturday,'' he said.
