RACE 1 - 12:17PM 2023 Magic Millions Classic - 4th March Three-Year-Old Maiden Plate (1000 METRES)
SIXTEEN REASONS debuts for Clarken Racing and was beaten 2.1 lengths in a Murray Bridge trial behind Tiffany Valentine. Lady Wairua was runner-up at Naracoorte when resuming. This looks harder but she has no weight and should give a sight. MAINBAR has trialled up nicely for his debut for the Darren McLeod stable. Captain Joolian has trialled well for his return but draws out wide. Justica's Bonus has been knocking on the door at Port Lincoln. LADIE'S LUNCH is in the leading stable but would need to improve on her form from mid-year and her recent trial was only fair. Miss Ellarose has trialled five times for her debut and must be respected. Lucia Maria resumes and can run well.

Danish Fortune has been good in both runs back from a spell. He flashed home first-up behind Sabermetric before getting a long way off Secret War and powering late to run 2nd at Gawler last week. He draws out but deserves to break through. David Jolly saddles up Inspired Sun who ran very well behind Wonderwomen, who has won again since, at Morphettville and should be ready to peak third-up. Stablemate Hallowed Ground ran well at his SA debut when 4th behind Queman. He likes to be on speed and draws a nice gate. Amani Farasi is on debut for Clarken Racing and has won 5 of 24 starts. She's a watch. Yardstick will be up on speed and must be respected. Tanaawol is first-up for Michael Hickmott and has trialled OK.

CALL ME SHAMUS comes off a good run when 2nd behind Rebel Lee. He's been knocking on the door and looks well placed again. DR DEE is going super winning well when backed off the map at Bordertown before a good run behind Hopon Harry last time. LAKE'S FOLLY doesn't run bad races and was 3rd in the Rebel Lee race last time. CLEVER MAN has been knocking on the door with placings his past two, the latest here behind Oath of Omerta. RITRATTO is a local who finished 3rd in the Oath Of Omerta race and draws a nice gate. AMMO AMOR is chasing three straight and draws an inside gate. AITCH D'AMICO is racing well. DIXIE WHISTLER has a good record here.

RACE 4 - 2:02PM Happy 21st Birthday Jack Billing Handicap (1000 METRES)
BOSS LADY ROCKS is a speedy Albury-trained galloper who comes off a last-start Moonee Valley win over this trip. She's won 5 of 14 and looks perfectly placed here down in the weights with the help of a claim. LARIMER STREET has halved his opening quote and was good first-up from a spell beaten 1.6 lengths behind Aston Rapova. He should improve second-up and must be respected. Stablemate MR HAVE A CHAT can run a cheeky race here down in the weights PARSIFAL is a good horse who was good behind Jigsaw at Sandown second-up from a break. He gets in OK at the weights after the claim and he's going to give this a shake. Stablemate ZOULAH trialled nicely for her return and her form last time in work as very good, she is a winner fresh. STAR HILLS Shas bene freshened since chasing home Philonize and does race well here.

RACE 5 - 2:37PM Carlton Draught Handicap (1600 METRES)
HOPON HARRY has a good record and was back to winning form beating Wild Imagination at Morphettville. He draws out but gets the claim for an in-form Ellis Wong and looks the one to beat. SASKATOON is chasing three on end here and was too good for Metro Legend last time who has won again since. BLAZERO chased home Saskatoon last time and maps well from a middle gate. LACRIMA has been racing well and was too good for Tubby Two Tracks at Morphettville last time. THE MAP resumes here and hasn't raced since winning over 2500m at Morphettville in November. She's a nice horse but is likely to need it further. DEXTER YOU DEVIL was good late behind Picargo at Gawler last week and must be included.

SIYATA is a former NSW galloper who has jumped out well ahead of her SA debut for the Clarken stable. She draws wide but has found a nice race for her return and should give this a shake. NOSTRYIA resumes and was good winning at Morphettville on debut when he run down Sghirripa. WINNING REVOLUTION has been around the mark, gets the blinkers and claim from a good gate. BAZINGA BAZINGA has solid Victorian form winning at Mornington three starts back and maps well from a middle gate. BRAZANO comes off a good effort running 3rd behind Our Heidi and draws to get a gun run here. BEEFEATERS is a Victorian coming off a Werribee maiden win and gets Barend. IL DON CAVALLO had market support when 2nd behind Set The Bar Low here last time.

RACE 7 - 4:07PM Fred Vella Tyre & Crash Repair Handicap (1400 METRES)
EAST INDIAMAN has been in good form for Darren McLeod and was narrowly beaten first-up in Melbourne. He draws a perfect gate and is going to be hard to beat here. The danger looks to be TURF DECISION who is coming through the grades and looking more than handy. He made it three wins on end beating Versetto here and the middle gate looks ideal. EN FRANCAIS is another right up to this on her best form. She created a big impression winning her Gawler maiden on debut and was a winner there in July. She draws out but the 1400m first-up looks ideal. PONTEDERA has won 2 of his past 3 the latest here over Spin The Reward and draws wide. JACK THE LAD ran well first-up in SA and must be respected. LAST GIRL LOVE is another who is more than up to a race like this. STAR ESPRESSO must be included.

RACE 8 - 4:47PM Northpoint Murraylands Handicap (1000 METRES)
SILVER ON RED is a nice horse who ran well at Moonee Valley behind Boss Lady Rocks. He has a great record here and the claim from a middle gate gives him his chance to find winning form and he's nice each-way odds. SABERMETRIC is a nice horse who bounced back to winning form last time beating Danish Fortune. He draws a nice middle gate and is going to give this a big shake. QUEMAN is a nice horse who has been in the money at 6 of 8 starts and was a good winner second-up, He draws wide but should be in this for a long way. QEYAADY was good first-up from a break when just beaten my Ruby and he has had another trial since. MORIALTA draws to be a factor here fresh he was a winner over Wild Imagination back in October and has trialled nicely for this return and looks over the odds. OUR HEIDI comes off a good win beating Miss Miduki and she maps to get a nice run here. ANJPIN is a progressive type who trialled nicely here beating Parsifal recently and should be in the mix. DASKULYA was a good winner here first-up from a short break and likes to roll forward.

THE RED KITE is lightly raced and returned to winning form beating Exalted Fire last time. He maps to get a nice run here on speed and should be fighting out the finish again. EXALTED FIRE gets some weight relief and maps to be around the mark again. Stablemate PENTIRE'S SPIRIT has been racing well. SEAFARING is racing well and has been in the money at 5 of 6 here. MORE SUGAR comes off a maiden win here beating Famous Prince and the step to the mile looks ideal. IRONEDGE was an Echuca winner five runs back and looks ready to peak third-up from a spell here. EAGLELOU is mixing form but was a Gawler winner two starts back and must be respected.
