Talented grey Silver On Red will be out to enhance an already impressive Murray Bridge record on Saturday.

The David Jolly-trained galloper has had five starts over the 1000m at Gifford Hill recording two wins and two placings and returns to his happy hunting ground on the back of an eye catching Moonee Valley run in December.

"He's going along nice and I'm really happy with him since Melbourne,'' Jolly said.

"He jumped a little slow and probably should have finished closer, where that would have seen him we will never know but his run was very good.

"Last time we took him away he really benefited from it, and I think third-up on a track he races so well on looks ideal,'' he said.

Silver On Red will jump from a middle gate and gets the help of a 1.5kg claim for apprentice Lachlan Neindorf.

Jolly has key chances throughout the day where he saddles up two runners in three races.

Former Victorian Hallowed Ground steps out against Inspired Sun early in the day, Larimer Street was well backed when markets opened and clashes with Mr Have A Chat, while Blaspheme and Two Times Twice battle later in the day.
