RACE 1 - 1:40PM Trimboli Services Maiden Plate (1700 METRES)

BUGATTI GOLD has been placed behind Dunmaghlas and Dual Fuel at her past two starts. She draws wide but gets the claim and the 1700m looks ideal. DIVINE JOURNEY had a few chances and jumped an odds-on favourite when beaten by Perlubie Beach at Strathalbyn last week. She gets the winkers on from an inside draw and she gets her chance again. MOOSE RIVER gets the blinkers on for the first time. ALWAYS SOMETIMES is a 24-start maiden.

SELECTIONS: 12 BUGATTI GOLD, 8 Divine Journey, 5 Moose River, 1 Always Sometimes
PLAY: Keen on BUGATTI GOLD.

RACE 2 - 2:15PM Matrix Solar Solutions Colts, Geldings & Entires Maiden Plate (1200 METRES)

The Robert Hill-Smith colours should be prominent here with THIRSTY GUEST who worked home strongly at his only start on the Parks and back in August and looks a horse with ability. He draws the inside gate. STOKEDOWN also wears the same colours and was a good run first-up from a spell when he took good ground off Master At Arms late running 2nd at Murray Bridge. He was placed on debut behind Halifax Road and looks the horse to beat here from the wide gate. MY MALOO is on debut from the Richard and Chantelle Jolly stable who wasn't beaten far in a Strathalbyn trial. PEARL ADIOS has shown ability running 2nd here behind Lucky Blue back in August and gets the blinkers for the first time. The Hickmott/Riggs pair of BYWATERS ROAD and FANTASTIC HOST both come off solid Victorian efforts and should run well. INOTELL has been placed at 6 of 12 starts, the latest behind Bonnie Gangster at Strathalbyn.

SELECTIONS: 13 THIRSTY GUEST, 7 Stokedown, 10 My Maloo, 11 Pearl Adios
PLAY: Backing THRSTY GUEST each-way.

RACE 3 - 2:50PM Kingsford Hotel Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (1200 METRES)

AWEN was a drifter in betting first-up from a spell when 2nd behind Miss Eurozone at Oakbank. She draws out here but she should take plenty out of that an looks well placed. ROC THE WOLF finished 3rd in the same race doing his best work late and looks ready to improve third-up here. REBEL MISTRESS had specking at a price in the same race and worked home well beaten 3.8 lengths. MISS REMSKI was good running 3rd behind Master At Arms at Murray Bridge last time. She draws out but getting out in trip should suit. BARBARA'S WISH worked home OK in the same race at Murray Bridge last time and the stable is flying, the quick back-up is ideal. FIZZY BUBBLY resumes from a good gate. ELECTRIC BUBBLY comes out of a stronger race in town.

RACE 4 - 3:25PM Elliot Scott 60th Birthday Class One Handicap (1100 METRES)

BENEVOLENT is an import who was in the market at all three SA runs when she didn't do a lot last year. She has the two trials under her belt, improving in the latest behind Valroc at Strathalbyn. She draws an inside gate and gets the claim. MISS EUROZONE has been good since coming to SA and broke her maiden at Oakbank last time beating Awen. She draws a middle gate and looks well placed again. VAMPIRE SLAYER was on speed when solid behind Siyata at Murray Bridge last time. She gets the claim and can roll forward and give a sight. MYSTIC STORM was a winner here four runs back beating Alpine Fun and draws to get a nice run. NORTHERN SUPERSTAR ran well here two starts back.

SELECTIONS: 2 BENEVOLENT, 3 Miss Eurozone, 1 Vampire Slayer, 5 Mystic Storm
PLAY: Something on BENEVOLENT each-way.

RACE 5 - 4:00PM LJ Hooker Gawler/Barossa Class One Handicap (1500 METRES)

ASHEMA is lightly-raced and she had specking at a price behind Getouttheway here in stronger company two runs back before a good effort running 2nd behind Shez Betty at Murray Bridge. She gets the middle gate and her chance to bounce back to winning form. Peter Hardacre saddles up three runs here. PICK ME trialled up well before defying a drift to win his maiden at Bordertown last year. IMPOSING SUSPECT was a Murray Bridge winner in August and has trialled up nicely for his return. The third CARRY ON FLYING won his maiden over 1573m at Mt Gambier in June and draws a wide gate. SEAFARING ran well here two starts back behind Tiger Queen and had some specking up in class behind Exalted Fire at Murray Bridge last time. TALES OF CONFLICT was a Penola winner before a solid effort behind Club Punter at Murray Bridge last time. EXCUSEZ MOI and HOUSE SPOUSE finished 4th and 5th respectively behind Fleurieu Flipper last time at Murray Bridge.

SELECTIONS: 9 SHEMA, 5 Carry On Flying, 8 Seafaring, 7 House Spouse
PLAY: Backing SHEMA each-way.

RACE 6 - 4:35PM Coopers Brewery Benchmark 58 Handicap (2100 METRES)

BATTING ABOVE is going super chasing three wins on end. He's back in trip after winning over the 2500m at Murray Bridge last time but gets a claim to offset his big weight and the stable is going super. WEST CLIFF was runner-up in that race and has been racing consistently. He end up meeting the winner worse at the weights here but should run well. ACE ATTACK could be the danger to the favourite. Jason Holder stays with him after his Oakbank win and he has a good record here. ANOTHER FREE GLASS returned to form last time running 2nd behind Frankel Star, he drops in weight and draws a middle gate. ALPINE BEAU finished off well in the same race last time at Murray Bridge. He's been in the money at 3 of 4 starts here and maps to get a good run. MYSTIC KNOT ran well at odds last time out.

SELECTIONS: 1 BATTING ABOVE, 2 Ace Attack, 3 West Cliff, 6 Another Free Glass
PLAY: Staying with BATTING ABOVE.

RACE 7 - 5:10PM IronGate Australia Benchmark 56 Handicap (1200 METRES)

BIGNOTA went hard up on speed from a wide gate and was found wanting late when 4th behind Armament at Murray Bridge last time. He bolted in his previous outing at Mount Gambier, he's back in trip which looks ideal, draws a gate and should take some running down. TAVIKAT was good when 2nd behind Whenthedeelingsdun at Strathalbyn. He's been in the money at both runs here and looks suited. POSSUM BORN was a Strathalbyn winner beating Betta Eddie in December and followed up running 3rd in the Whenthedelingsdun race at Strathalbyn. He draws out but is right up to a race like this. LIANNE gets Barend on board, she'd be right in this on the form she showed when she first came to SA but needs to lift. MISS MIDUKI has been around the mark and was sent out favourite here last time. SWAMP VIXEN could be an improver with the blinkers back on second-up in SA.

SELECTIONS: 10 BIGNOTA, 3 Tavikat, 9 Possum Born, 7 Lianne
PLAY: Backing BIGNOTA to bounce back.
