Winning Trainer: Mike Moroney
On last start: "She had a really high temperature after she won (Sandown, 7 January) and we had four weeks to a run and we thought we had her right.
"Her bloods came back good and her work was good but she must have still been suffering as she raced poorly. I know they reported that she had EIPH and all of that sort of stuff but she wasn't (that bad) and we had her vets check her out and I was pretty confident that they take one run when they've had something like that to get right and I told the owners that."
"She's a very good mare on her day, as you saw today, and it was a good field and to take the males on. Now that drives us to get black type with her. She hasn't got it yet and hopefully I can.
Next outing possibly the Matron Stakes: "Something like that. There's some mares miles coming up and even in South Australia as well. She's going to get options now and the owners have been good and patient with her and they're great to train for."
On Roch 'N' Horse's scratching: "Twelve hours is even a short time in racing and when got there this morning she had a bit of filling in her hind leg. She must've hit the wall or something like that.
"A bit of cellulitis, we took her for a trot and canter and she was fine but it is too risky. It hadn't come right down so we went on the side of caution and scratched her.
"All going well we'll see her in the Oakleigh Plate."
Winning Jockey: Jye McNeil
What impressed him: "The way she finished. She seemed to previously have been able to let rip with a great turn of speed but today she quickened up and sustained it to the line.
"She got herself pretty worked up pre-race bt it didn't affect her performance."
