Last year's winner Energumene and narrow favourite Edwardstone look likely to take part in Wednesday's Champion Chase and will be joined by Edwardstone's main challenger, Editeur Du Gite, as well as Gentleman De Mee and Blue Lord. Funambule Sivola, Nube Negra, Greaneteen and Captain Guinness are also potential starters.

In the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle, Impaire Et Passe and Hermes Allen, who both have significant reputations, lead the way and will face off against Willie Mullins' eight entries, including Facile Vega and Il Etait Temps. Meanwhile, The Real Whacker, who is also entered for the Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup, is an interesting inclusion in the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase, for which Adamantly Chosen was supplemented at the expense of £7,312.

With such high-profile contenders ready to fight it out, Wednesday's races are certainly ones not to miss.
