Winning Trainer: Symon Wilde (racing manager Ben Casanelia speaking)
On her second-up record: "She's four from six now. We were probably a little bit disappointed with her first-up (because) she'd trialled well and her work had been really good, but she was probably slightly disappointing although she was good late.
"Today, gate one, and Ben rode her well."
On today's race: "We were a little bit concerned about her record at Flemington, I think she was zip (wins) from six goes here, but today she's done that really easily.
"At the top of the straight I knew she was travelling and she does need to be ridden along a little bit but there was plenty of horse there and she was fantastic. All credit to her."
Future plans?: "I think we were planning on going to the Sunline (Stakes), but I'll leave that to Symon and the team at home to the team to decide that, but the owners will enjoy today and she's a real marvel for the stable."
Winning Jockey: Ben Melham
O the win: "It was a good win, she's a tough mare, but a bloody hard ride, though. She goes keen and hits a flat spot and you've really got to make her do it.
"I was able to control the speed and kick away, she was very strong at the finish."
On the welfare of partner Jamie Kah after her earlier fall: "I'm going to put the cue in the rack for the day and just make sure she is alright.
"It's just a reminder of how dangerous the job can be, the last week or so, but right now winners are not important as long as everyone is OK."
