Winning Trainer: Smiley Chan
On his first Saturday city winner: "This is my first Saturday class (winner) for me, last time was Pierro Belle in Wednesday midweek class, so today is the first Saturday class.
On teaming up with Gary Lo: "He's my friend now, he's from Hong Kong, so I'm pretty happy we team up together."
On how hard it is training in Victoria: "It's not easy, I can tell you. I was always struggling when I first started and it's still not easy for me. I'm not saying I work harder (than most) - everyone works really hard here - but sometimes you just need the luck to get the win and today I got the luck."
On the horse's improvement: "I get lots of treatment for him, my vets help him a lot. When I first got him four joints had a problem but then they started to get better and better and now is the second preparation for me and he's pretty sound most of the time.
"I can say the vets did the job, I just help the horse a little bit only."
Winning Jockey: Gary Lo
On the horse's form: "He went pretty good last start, he got a wide barrier and he jumped a bit low so he just went out the back, but today he jumped really well, put himself there very easily and hetravelled lovely in the middle stages and when I asked him to go in the straight he was really strong to the line."
On teaming with Smiley Chan: "This is my first time riding for a Hong Kong trainer, it is a good combination. I am from Hong Kong as well, so it was good to get the win for Smiley."
