The stable won the race with Jungle Magnate last year, who went on to claim the Group 1 SA Derby, and have gone for the blinkers for the first time aboard the three-year-old who has jumped favourite in all three starts.

He won his maiden at Pakenham before finishing runner-up at his past two starts at Sandown and Price said getting out in trip with the blinkers on for the first time should bring out the best in the horse.

"I think 2000m and possibly the South Australian Derby will be better for him,'' Price said.

"This breed, the So You Think's go a bit better with the blinkers on.

"Blinkers on, D. Oliver on, drawn to get the run of the race. He'll go super, he's one of our better chances for the weekend,'' he said.

The stable also saddle up three-year-old filly Ravin in the race, who is the third emergency for the Group 1 Australasian Oaks.

Ravin caught the eye closing late behind to be beaten just 1.5 lengths behind Jennilala in the Group 3 Auraria Stakes and will again be ridden by Ben Price.
