RACE 1 - 11:47AM SkyCity Handicap (2014 METRES)

KING'S CROSSING takes on the older horses here. He was a Geelong winner two starts back at 1726m before being narrowly beaten by Instigator last time. He draws a middle gate and has the upside here. Likewise FIRST IMMORTAL is another 3yo who comes off a Sale win at 1728m and should get a perfect run from barrier two. Both are among SA Derby nominations, and they should be fighting this out. PLAYING IT SAFE is another Victorian who was a Ballarat winner at 2000m two starts back. EAGLELOU found winning form last time on the Parks beating Jenkins and must be respected. SILENT SURRENTE ran 3rd in the same race and draws the inside.

RACE 2 - 12:22PM Thomas Farms Handicap (1600 METRES)

MY KHALIFA has a good record and regained winning form coming off the speed to beat Rich Gina and Chicago Storm in the City Of Adelaide at 1400m last time. His best form is on the Parks but he's trending the right way and should take some beating. CONQUEROR looks the danger, he was good coming off the speed to win on the Parks last time and he draws to get a good run. TYPHOON HARMONY was a Moonee Valley winner in December and gets an inside gate and Craig Williams. Richard and Chantelle Jolly have REGALO DI GAETANO who has been good in two runs back in SA, YURI ROYALE who was solid last time and PUDDING who was only beaten 3.6 lengths first-up from a spell at Oakbank.

RACE 3 - 12:57PM Petaluma Handicap (1050 METRES)

CELSIUS STAR made it consecutive wins when he was too strong for Storm Voyager here last time. He draws a nice barrier and should be in the finish. CAPITAL EXPRESS was a Geelong winner in December and chased home Benedetta last time out at Sandown in January. She can run well in race like this fresh. SECOND TO NUN is a nice filly coming through and was good behind Press Down two starts back and can figure in a race like this. LE DERRIERE brings some solid Victorian form here, she had good market support when 2nd behind Charmed Run at Mornington last time. EXOPIPI hasn't raced since bolting in a Mildura maiden last July. STORM VOYAGER was again solid behind Sghirripa last week. NOBLE MAGNATE had good backing when 4th behind Lounge Bar Rubi last time.

Race 4 - 1:32PM D C McKay Stakes (1100 METRES)

ZOUTORI hasn't races since October 2022 but has form around the best sprinters running 6th in the 2022 TJ Smith behind Nature Strip, his last run back in October finishing 5th behind Private Eye in the G2 Gilgai at Flemington. He's a four-time winner first-up and draws the perfect gate. Stablemate GENERAL BEAU was OK running 5th on the Parks behind Kallos. LARIMER STREET should get a good run from the inside. He was a good winner two starts back and then only fair behind Kallos in the Irwin. Stablemate GAZE GRISE was down the track in the same race and gets blinkers for the first time. Likewise SHAMINO didn't fire in the Irwin but is a five-time winner this track and trip and suited in a smallish field. FREE OF DEBT won this race last year beating SAVATOXL who won first-up at Alice Springs and won this race two years ago before winning the Goodwood.

RACE 5 - 2:07PM Without Fear Stakes (Formerly Queen Adelaide Stakes) (1050 METRES)

IPHIMEDIA was a good winner at Terang on debut beating Rose Of Shalaa who looked good winning at Warrnambool on Tuesday. He looks over the odds from the good barrier with Craig Williams aboard. DOWN LOW was solid in the market when 5th behind Serasana at Sandown on debut back in December. REMEDIES was run down by Stretan Angel in the Dequettville but had solid Sydney form and could be the improver here. LUNASHA trialled back in December and comes off a Pakenham jump-out win and must be respected. PUTANOTHERCOININ won a recent Murray Bridge trial. CAUSATION stuck on OK behind Treasurway here last week but draws out. CHILLED defeated Stretan Angel two runs back and was OK at Mornington last time. ACAPPELLA MOON was a winner on the Parks two runs back.

RACE 6 - 2:45PM Queen Of The South Stakes (1600 METRES)

This race is loaded with quality. MY WHISPER won the G3 Summoned Stakes at Caulfield in November. She's been in the money at both runs here, including a narrow defeat in last year's Oaks and looks right in this despite the sticky gate. FOXY FRIDA was good winning first-up at Bendigo she has a good record here and draws the perfect gate. SPARKLE is a former Japanese galloper who has won her past two at Flemington and is trending the right way. The Nick Ryan pair of BELLE SAVOIR, who had solid 3yo form and looks ready to peak third-up, and CAP DE JOIE a beaten $1.45 fav at Geelong last time, must be respected. CASTE can run well down in the weights. DYNASTIES was only beaten 3.3 lengths behind Roots in the G2 Emancipation at Rosehill two runs back. MISS YOU ELLA the watch, an American import on debut for the Price/Kent Jnr stable and a winner of her past two at Gulfstream Park. WALTZ ON BY won the Bendigo Guineas two runs back.

RACE 7 - 3:25PM Furphy Robert Sangster Stakes (1200 METRES)

Sure to be good tempo here. ZAPATEO was super impressive coming off the speed to win softly in Sydney last time. She draws out and looks to be peaking perfectly for this. BELLA NIPOTINA has been racing super at the top level for a long time she stormed home from a mile back in the Quokka last time and should get every chance from a middle gate. Stablemate MARABI will make the speed with I'MLOVIN'YA. PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE draws a sticky gate but her win two starts back has to be respected in a race like this. SEPTEMBER RUN is another proven at the top level over time. Stablemate ESPIONA comes off two good Sydney wins. RUTHLESS DAME drops back in trip and can be strong late down in the weights.

RACE 8 - 4:05PM TAB Tobin Bronze Stakes (Formerly Euclase Stakes) (1200 METRES)

SEVEN VEILS had solid Sydney form before she was sent out big odds and flashed late behind I'mlovin'ya in the Redelva first-up. She gets to 1200m and looks great each-way value in a super race. WEE NESSY comes off a super run behind Aft Cabin in the Arrowfield in Sydney last time and draws the inside gate. Peter Moody has SHUFFLE DANCER, who won the G2 Armanasco two starts back before flashing late in the Kewney draws a middle gate and SHE DANCES who draws gate two looks the leader and comes off a Gold Dash win when she led throughout. Maher and Eustace's ROYAL MERCHANT kept coming behind I'mlovin'ya in the Redelva and draws a nice gate, PRESS DOWN was good in the same race and RENOSU stuck on OK but draws out. GREY RIVER can improve second-up.

RACE 9 - 4:42PM Grand Syndicates Handicap (1200 METRES)

Tough race to finish the day. ATLANTIS TYCOON ran 5th behind Jacquinot in the G3 McNeil Stakes at Caulfield last August. His three runs back have only been OK but if he regains that form of last year this is a very suitable race with John Allen on and a good gate. JACKS ON ICE comes off a good win back in class, KNIGHTSTOWN draws out but has been finding the line OK. PRANCE 'N' DANCE was beaten 5 lengths in the Redelva last time but can run well. SMILING FROM ABOVE is a nice horse, fresh after she was beaten back in class first-up. TOAST THE DEEL will be rattling home late from the wide barrier. LOPE DE WOLF has OK fresh form.
