SHE'S FIT

Trainer Dan Morton was on hand to see Saturday's TABtouch South Australian Derby (2500m) favourite complete a work out in Adelaide and liked what he saw.

"She had a short, sharp gallop over 600m," Morton told The Races WA.

"I haven't seen her in a while and I'm rapt with how she looks and is going.

"She has come on since the Australasian Oaks (2400m)."

Chris Parnham will ride She's Fit in the South Australian Derby.

BABY PARIS

The Playing God filly is in the paddock after her last-start win in The Joey (1200m) at Ascot in April.

"She won't go to the Belmont Sprint," trainer Colin Webster told The Races WA.

"She has come through The Joey really well, but she doesn't have to many runs in a preparation, we try and space her runs.

"She'll have a short spell and come back for the Beaufine."

The Listed Beaufine Stakes (1000m) is run at Belmont on July 8.

LENIENCY

The Safeguard gelding is in the paddock after finishing down the track at his first attempt over the mile at Ascot in April.

"He is in the paddock and will come back for the Ascot carnival," Webster said.

"We did look at the Raconteur Stakes (1400m) and Belmont Guineas (1600m), but thought that might be over doing it.

"We will give him a nice break and come back for the Ascot carnival."

TANGLED TALK

The unraced three-year-old Maschino gelding showed a stack of ability at Ascot trials on Monday when winning his 400m heat by six lengths.

"He might have another trial, we'll see how he pulls up," Webster said.

"He's a nice horse."

SHEEZA BELTER

The WA-owned chestnut filly will trial on Monday ahead of her Brisbane campaign.

"She'll kick off in a Listed filles and mares race," managing owner, Justin Warwick said.

"She will then go to the G2 Dane Ripper Stakes (1300m) and the G1 Tatts Tiara (1400m).

"She might go on afterwards, but the Tatts Tiara is the race we want to win.

"It would nice if she could win a Group 1 as a two and three-year-old."

In before noms market, TABtouch has Sheeza Belter at $14 for the Tatts Tiara.

CLAIRVOYANCE

Trainer Darren McAuliffe said the five-year-old mare is on track for a comeback to racing, despite a minor hiccup.

"She is just getting over over a foot abscess," McAuliffe said.

"Otherwise, everything about her comeback has gone according to plan.

"Hopefully she has a gallop in the next week or two."

THE VELVET QUEEN

The four-year-old mare will be ridden by Jarrad Noske in Saturday's The Belmont Sprint (1400m).

McAuliffe has won the Group 3 feature twice previously with The Velvet King (2021) and Universal Ruler (2009).

RESORTMAN

Paul Harvey has been booked to ride the Michael Lane-trained six-year-old in Saturday's Group 3 Belmont Sprint.

Lane said Resortman will go to the paddock after the Belmont Sprint.
