Initially the two meetings were scheduled as Sunday programs but with the availability of Sky 1 coverage, and the chance for greater turnover, the meetings were swapped to 7 June and 21 June.

"I think it's a positive, my owners are open minded, with Tasracing doing a live stream they can still feel connected even if they've got work commitments and from a business (point of view) Sunday's are the hardest to staff and the most expensive being double time," Adam Trinder said.

Trinder had reason to be upbeat, he and stable apprentice Erica Byrne Burke combined to win four races.

Trinder is predicting his 2YO filly Kireina Marubrah could develop into an Oaks contender after she defied a betting drift to score her first win at just her second race start.

Kireina Marubrah, $2.70 to $4.20 was too strong for the heavily backed Captain Cam with Mira Flores third.

"She's taken a little bit of time. She'll stay all day, she's still a little bit green, did a little bit wrong but she's probably done enough now so we'll put her away and focus on the summer carnival."

The win completed and early double for Trinder and Byrne Burke who were off to a flying start when another 2YO, Cherokee Dancer ($2.30 to $1.85 fav) scored in the opening event.

Byrne Burke had the youngster in second spot for most of the trip before overhauling the leader Stars In The Night to win by a short neck, stablemate to the winner, Rubick's Affair, made late ground for an eye-catching third.

"She was good today, she stepped away a little bit slow, but we got into rhythm and raced outside the leader.

"I didn't think I was going that well on the turn but she picked up and was strong to the line," Byrne Burke said.

Winner number three was Seydoux ($2.90 fav) who completed a hat-trick since joining the stable, when she easily won a BM60 over 1150m

After the race Trinder was full of praise for his Irish-born apprentice.

"She's a confidence rider, she tends to ride my horses better than she does anyone else's which she needs to improve and take that confidence into unknown areas, (but) if I leg her on and say this will win, she will go out and get the job done."

Their fourth winner came with another peach of a ride from EBB when Sharma Rama ($6.00) held on to score from the fast-finishing Vetlanda and Le Cadeau in a BM72 over 1009m.
