Private Legacy appreciated stepping out in trip running 34.16 for her final 600m and can only improve over more ground.
Sound The Siren continues to race without luck, and once overcoming difficulties, he surged to the line and ran the equal race fastest final 200m in 11.43.
The hidden run of the race was Marenaro, who was restrained from a wide draw and got into an impossible position due to the race shape.
He ran all the fastest closing splits, and his final 600m in 33.97 was a length faster than the race's next best. He will only improve with race experience and over more ground.
Tazaral has improved in his second Australian campaign and won the Benchmark 72 over 1600m in style.
