She was well backed when 2nd behind Tahnee Tradition in the mares feature at Oakbank back in April and looks hard to beat here.  BUBBLE OVER was back to winning form coming from well back to beat Charlesfort here last time. She gets some weight relief and is going to be in the mix. FLORAL OASIS got back and was OK beaten 6.5 lengths behind La Danseuse Rouge in the Lightning Stakes last week. She can run well back in class. OUR SHINING STAR was OK running 6th behind The Guava last time and gets an inside gate. SCRIPTA had some backing at a price when well ridden to beat Pretentious Lass at Gawler last time.

SELECTIONS: 2 ALPINE FLYER, 1 Bubble Over, 4 Floral Oasis, 7 Our Shining Star
PLAY: Backing ALPINE FLYER.

Esecutore was solid in the market and ran favourite on debut at Bendigo when 3.55 lengths 4th behind Long Lost Friend. He draws a good gate. ENNA'S DREAM is trained by Alex Rae at Cranbourne and won a Traralgon trial nicely. The early money is there to suggest he should take some beating here. Will Clarken and Niki O'Shea have two on debut GRINT who has had the three trials winning his latest here and has had market support, while EVERLY also won a trial on the same day and draws out but must be respected. INTO THE LIGHT debuts for Dan Clarken and Oopy MacGillivray and was beaten 6.3 lengths in a trial here and another to attract market support early in betting. He won a recent Traralgon trial ahead of his return and draws a nice barrier. Fellow Victorian FUNNYIFITWON was a Sale winner three starts back and has been around the mark at his past couple at Sandown. SIX FOOT SONG returned to winning form here beating Pool Party and must be respected. Sam Payne rides in preference to LOMAX who comes off a good Gawler win beating Flyway.

He draws out but looks the horse to beat. Stablemate OATH OF OMERTA is a handy stayer well short of his right trip but has won three of five here. VALIDATED is a nice horse with four wins from eight starts and is unbeaten here. He was a good winner in a strong 3yo field here two runs back before being beaten 2.55 lengths behind Va Via at Caulfield. He draws the inside and should give this a shake in his first start against the older horses. STORM HUNTER was a good winner on the Parks two starts back and then looked to have his chance there when 5th behind Peacemaker last time. He'll appreciate getting right down in the weights. SO SAY ANGEL has been knocking on the door, she draws out but looks suited her after being beaten 2.2 lengths behind Barretta on the Parks last time. SPARKUP has been around the mark in three runs back the latest when 4th behind Barretta on the Parks. He can figure from a middle gate.

RACE 5 - 2:22PM Northpoint Murraylands Handicap (1000 METRES)

Jean Valjean was super impressive first-up from a spell where he came from a mile back on the Parks, overcome a check and was still too smart. He's above average and the inside gate is the only negative and he's likely to run at Flemington. RODEO is racing well and followed a good 3rd here behind The Gov with another solid effort when 2nd behind Pegasi on the Parks. That's good form and he should take some beating. Stablemate KEEP READING has been around the mark and draws a nice barrier. He has form around The Gov and Metro Legend. KNIGHTSTOWN doesn't win out of turn but was an eye catcher again last time when beaten 0.6 lengths behind Son Of Bielski on the Parks. The inside gate isn't ideal but he'll be the one flashing late. COOL MAGNUM races well here and was good first-up when 4th behind Picargo and should be in the mix from a sticky gate. OBI strips fitter for one run back where he didn't do a lot. His form last time in work would have him in the mix here. IMPOSSIBLE ACTION has a good record around here and is a winner fresh. He hasn't raced since he led when 6th behind Conqueror on the Parks and he gets some weight relief. AIGUILETTE was beaten 5.4 lengths in 8th behind Celsius Star here last time out back in June, he draws a nice barrier and his best is up to a race like this.

He chased home Merchant Boss on the Parks last time who has won again since and should take some beating but does have plenty of weight. TICKETY BOOM has been good in two runs back form a spell the latest making good ground when 2nd behind Left Turn Clyde. He draws a middle gate and looks right in a race like this. COVER STAR brings some solid Victorian form here winning at Kyneton in May and has been placed his past couple, the latest on the Pakenham synthetic. He should run well here. FLY THE LINE is a last-start winner here beating Madam Furphy when resuming and maps to get every chance from a middle gate. He draws well and can again be in the finish. Stablemate LORD LUKER was impressive on the back of a gun ride when he charged home to win on the Parks beating Annihilate. He draws a good gate and should be right in the mix. The are both each-way value. MORE SUGAR comes off a good win beating Brazen Eagle at Murray Bridge. The extra trip suits and she'll give this a shake. WHATSANAMEGEORGE ran really well first-up from a spell when 2nd behind Cold Case on the Parks, he draws wide but must be respected. MCCAIN is on the quick back up from winning at Gawler on Wednesday and should run well. OCEANOGRAPHY has been OK in two SA runs and gets an OK draw.
