Despite losing the backs of the leaders on the home turn when See You In Heaven levelled up Savatoxl, Seonee's superior race fitness saw her lift late to claim victory, her fourth win on end for top trainer Patrick Payne.

Jockey Jake Noonan confident the mare can measure up against some of the best in Melbourne Spring Carnival after making it five wins from five starts at 1400m in the Adelaide feature.

Seonee's win overshadowed by New Zealand apprentice Kelsey Hannan who has made an immediate impact on the South Australian riding ranks.

Hannan, who is on loan to Murray Bridge horseman Michael Hickmott and testing the waters in South Australia for two weeks produced a winning treble at her first metropolitan meeting on Australia soil.

She scored aboard the Ron Daniel and Trish Stanbury-trained Calla Dream, followed up with victory aboard progressive mare Alpine Flyer for Michael Hickmott before Angaston produced a big run from the back to claim the last race of the day.

"I just feel really excited, really lucky and just grateful who everyone who has put me on and has trusted me,'' Hannan said.

Angaston's trainer, former top jockey Jon O'Connor giving a glowing report post-race of the young rider's talents.

"Her stats are amazing, her last 50 rides, her stats are unbelievable. She might be a bit of a whiz kid this one, she's a beauty,'' O'Connor said.

"When the barrier came out, I wasn't going to run him. I didn't have a rider was a bit concerned about the weight. Kelsey had a previous booking but it came out,'' he said.

Todd Pannell claiming a riding double getting Prince Jofra home early in the day for the Travis Doudle stable before Victorian Etienne was successful for Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young.
