Winning Trainer: John Leek Jnr
Training a double on a G1 day: "You're only as good as your last winner aren't you? I've had a lot of good days but this is probably one of them. I've had a double on Cox Plate (day) many many years ago but I was young and didn't appreciate it."
Double for Bob Peters: "I love this, Bob (Peters) and I are old fellas so imagine how he's feeling right now. He's entrusted me with these beautiful horses, Devoted came over here, it took him a while to get going, Frigid was the same, even Regal Power's gone great today so who knows where we can finish up in a few weeks."
Trusting young apprentices: "I have a great association with Wiremu Pinn, the first time he rode for me we got on like a house on fire, the day after we were at lunch. Tatum, she's a great girl, she's got a bright future, seriously I don't want to pump her tyres up too much or we won't be able to get her but she's a great girl and what a great ride. Two great rides today."
What's next for Devoted: "He's only just won with a three kilo claimer so we're not getting too excited. I'm a bit more excited about Frigid but you know, I want to see what the times are like compared to the Memsie and I'll tell you what I think about it."
Winning Jockey: Tatum Bull
How the race unfolded: "I was probably a little bit of a pest to Olly which is unfortunate for him but when he was three wide and I had that horse to my inside I just had to obviously keep him posted but when he started to roll I decided to be on his back because I knew at least he'd get going early so with him being a tough enough horse so just got on the back of him and it seemed to work out perfectly for us and I was rapt to hunt down Daniel (Stackhouse) too."
On the horse: "He's super, obviously he ran really well last start and that horse that beat him (Amenable) ran really well in the race before (Memsie). He's going quite well and I'll leave that up to John but I definitely think he can take that next step."
On riding a double on a G1 day: "It's very special, Caulfield's been good to me, it's been tough to get back into it following my injury but I'll take any rides when I can get them and an opportunity like this doesn't come around very often, to get two favourites on a Group One day so I'm just happy that I didn't stuff it up."
