Gatt, who has ridden more than 1600 winners during his career, called time on his race riding career at Morphettville back in November with an opportunity to move back to Victoria with family and relocate their business coupled with the chance to join his brother-in-law Clayton Douglas' stable too good to refuse.
But Gatt's name reappeared in the form guide in May in what he called a 'cameo' which has continued riding seven winners from 40 rides in August.
He has also been booked to ride Portation for Sue and Jason Jaensch and Whisky 'N' Women for the Jordan Frew stable.
