That's the message from trainer Trevor Andrews ahead of his two-pronged attack on Saturday's Max Simmonds Stakes (1000m) at Ascot.

Andrews, who also has A Lot Of Good Men in the $100,000 event, said he expected Krysanova to find the front from barrier five.

"She's a very fast filly," Andrews told TABradio.

"I've always been trying to chill her out and be conservative, but she's been reluctant to play the game.

"We're just going to let her be fast.

"If she commences fast, she will set a good pace in the race and she will be in front for a fair while."

Krysanova, who finished fourth in April's Gimcrack Stakes (1100m), will be ridden by Shaun Mcgruddy for the first time on Saturday.

Jarrad Noske rode the filly when she won a Belmont trial by more than six lengths last month.

Andrews said the trial would hold her in good stead come Saturday.

"She's had a couple of solid gallops since," he said.

"She's not going to be lacking fitness.

"She's matured and improved."

While Krysanova looks set to be kept to sprint trips, A Lot Of Good Men is poised to be one of the key contenders for the WA Guineas (1600m) during The Pinnacles.

A winner at three of his six career starts, A Lot Of Good Men has drawn barrier 12 for Saturday's feature.

Paul Harvey teams up again with the colt on Saturday from barrier 12.

Andrews said he wasn't concerned by A Lot Of Good Men's draw this week and was confident he would do his best work late in the race.

"The main aim for him is the Guineas," he said.

"I'm not unhappy with the draw.

"We will just go back from there.

"It's all about teaching him to relax.

"If it's run to suit him, he will be getting home strong."

Oscar's Fortune is the $2.80 TAB touch favourite for the Max Simmonds Stakes, with Krysanova and A Lot Of Good Men at $9 and $11 respectively.
