Winning Trainer: Anthony & Sam Freedman (Sam speaking)
Team effort: "It was, credit to all the staff at home, they've done a very good job with this horse, he's won three on the trot, he's sort of resurrected his career and credit to everyone at home, Cass who did a lot of his rehab a long time ago, the team at Pinecliff and a particular well done to the team at Flemington, Steve Adams, Henry who's been riding him up here."
"I want to make a special mention to Robbie Scarlett who's had a lot to do with this horse early in his career. He had a bad fall at Pinecliff during the week, he had some back surgery today, he's on the mend, he's texted me already. I'm sure he's watching it from the bed and he'd be absolutely rapt, he's been a big part of it."
On the owners: "Very thankful to all the owners, they've been very patient with him and they got the reward so the horse is doing a terrific job."
Keeps improving: "I think he's just matured, he had a few issues early on, there's a case to say in Australian racing we rush them pretty early on, this was a horse that just needed to fully mature. Billy's (Egan) got on with him so well, rides him perfect every time."
"He didn't actually change onto his right leg, he normally switches onto that right and really lets down so not sure what the case was there but I'm sure Billy will know."
Winning Jockey: Billy Egan
On the horse: "He's been a terrific horse, I think any jockey would be going well on him, Sam's just got him in really good form."
Chased down leader: "It's been really hard to make ground tonight, we were conscious of that, we had to ride our own horse, I probably put him into the race a bit sooner than I usually would to make sure Craig didn't get away because he did control the race but sort of half way up the straight, because I put him into the race early, his run just died and he just sort of sailed over the line and maintained that gallop so I was a little worried."
Riding a Group 3 winner: "I couldn't hear anything… I just want to thank my mum, dad and my auntie Kylie who are here today, they drove me around a lot when I was a kid before I got my license so it's just nice to have them here on a night like this."
